- The photography is always in color.
- The environment should be clean and natural.
- Photography of people should be inclusive, and show a diverse image of people and families from Van der Plas.
- The expression of the person is neutral or positive.
- The photo has enough contrast, and the situation is well-lit, by natural or artificial light. We avoid the use of filters.
- Preferably, the photo should be taken from the perspective of the observer. We avoid the use of extreme angles.
